Tinkerbella's pUpdates

In 2019, we were lucky enough to spend the Christmas season with the lovely children & staff at Hope Orphanage♥ in Portugal. We had lots of fun exploring the city with them, seeing the sites, visiting the aquarium, a puppet show, markets, churches & so much more!

When we were deciding what we could gift to them for the holidays…
We figured not many things can be better than simply being shown unconditional love & loyalty…

So we chose, not only the closest representation of these which we could think of, but also something which many studies have proven to actually be very beneficial for children’s development too…

Yep! We decided to gift them the CUTEST little puppy!
(& of course covered all of her expenses- food costs, vet bills etc.. ever since as well)

The kids fell in love immediately & we’re so happy to have been repeatedly told Tinkerbella has been, & continues to be, the most perfect pet!

"She's always so playful & ready to have fun yet gentle with the children & has endless patience with any & all of their crazy antics!"

The staff have also let us know they feel she’s helped the children deepen their sense of empathy & compassion, develop a sense of excitement around the idea of having responsibilities & showcases to them a perfect example of what Love looks like- just as we hoped!

Recently, we’ve added the option for donors to help contribute towards Tinkerbella’s expenses if they wish to. As always they can also choose to be Kept in the Loop through personalised updates of what exactly their donation helped provide.
